Registered home care and residential services

We have a number of care services across the county that we run in house. These include:

  • residential care homes
  • home care services, including our short term services
  • learning disability and disabled children's services

All our services are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure they comply with national minimum standards and are regularly inspected.

Each of our registered services has an individual page in this section which include details of each service's CQC rating and a link to the full inspection report on the CQC website.

Independent care services

As well as our own care services we also contract with independent care providers and nursing homes. You can find out more about independent residential, home care and learning disability services in Derbyshire by viewing the care services directory.

We also publish a list of current care home vacancies throughout the county on a weekly basis.

For further information about home care services in general, please see our help to live at home page. Our choosing a care home page has guidance on how to choose a residential service that meets your requirements. We also have information on how to access short term care and respite services.

You can find out about the cost of care services in our paying for care section.
