Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (D2N2) Local Transport Body

The Local Transport Body has been created in order to administer a devolved fund for major transport schemes over the period 2015 to 2016 to 2018 to 2019.

It met in ‘shadow’ form on 24 June 2013 to agree governance and the methodology to be used in agreeing a programme of schemes. On 22 July 2013 the Local Transport Body met to agree this programme.

Each of the proposed schemes is promoted by 1 of the 4 D2N2 highway and transport authorities (the 2 city and 2 county councils), and in each case the promoter will deal with all correspondence and consultation processes associated with the scheme.
