Countryside events programme

Facilities at our countryside sites remain closed including:

  • shops, cafes and visitor centres
  • hire of all-terrain mobility scooters or ‘trampers’
  • play equipment and outdoor gym equipment
  • cycle hire at Middleton Top
  • events cancelled from April until the end of August 2020

Residents living within walking distance can access our countryside sites and country parks in line with government advice to go for a walk, jog or cycle in their household group, keeping a safe distance from others.

Please take any litter and dog poo bags home with you as bin collections on our site will be less frequent than usual.

  • Shipley Country Park
  • Elvaston Castle Country Park
  • Middleton Top
  • Black Rocks
  • Tapton Lock Visitor Centre
  • High Peak Junction
  • Cromford Wharf

This page will be updated with any changes to this information.
