Tramper hire

We have 2 Trampers (all terrain mobility scooters) available for use at Elvaston Castle Country Park. These are available from the information centre and shop within the cobbled courtyard.

Booking a Tramper

Currently we can only accommodate 2 bookings a day (am and pm), with trampers going out one at a time.

The available hire times are:

• 10am to 1pm
• 1pm to 4pm

We appreciate that for some people booking in advance can be difficult, as you may not know how you will feel on the day, but unfortunately trampers will need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance. This is due to the safety measures we have in place for our staff and users.

Please contact the rangers' office, telephone: 01629 533870 or in person to make a booking. If you need to cancel your booking, please give us as much notice as possible so we can reallocate it to another user.

New users

If you're new to the use of trampers, please note that we are currently only able to offer inductions Monday to Friday. We are not currently able to offer inductions at the weekend.
