Register of applications for rights of way

The register of definitive map modification order applications is a list of all outstanding claims made by members of the public, or of interest groups such as the Ramblers' Association, for alterations to the county's legal record of Public Rights of Way.

A claim will typically involve the addition of a new right of way or a change to the public rights which may be exercised over an existing route.

The register will be updated regularly to allow the processing of individual applications to be monitored as they pass through the relevant legal stages.

Reports on decisions made after the 30 July 2019 are attached to each application, which can be viewed by searching the applications register.
