"Yes, we are overlooking Ashover. Where we are actually overlooking in the near foreground is the village of North Wingfield and to the left, Clay Cross. Viewable quite easily, the square tower of Wingfield Church straight in front and the spire at Clay Cross. If you go further to the left, you will see Ashover Rock. If you pan further towards the left, probably in winter you'll be able to see Crich. Hedges, obviously, in the summer there just cut your viewing down a little bit, but in the winter you can view all the way round, when the leaves are off the trees."
