Or South Derbyshire District Council can collect large items through their waste collection service for a small fee.

What to do if your furniture isn't suitable for re-use
If you think your unwanted furniture is not suitable for re-use, you can take it to any of our household waste recycling centres for disposal free of charge.
Or your local district council will provide a bulky household waste collection service under which they'll collect old furniture from your property. They may charge for this.
