The project collects items of furniture free of charge.
Upholstered items must have a current fire retardant label and TV and hi-fi cabinets have to have Kite marked glass.
The project does not collect TVs, washing machines, cookers or large double wardrobes because of removal problems.
If you would like to find out more about volunteering with the charity tel: 01773 764562.
The showroom is open to the public to purchase items. Delivery will incur a £2.50 charge.
Furniture can be donated directly to the showroom. Please call SALCARE to check whether your furniture is suitable for reuse.

What to do if your furniture isn't suitable for re-use
If you think your unwanted furniture is not suitable for reuse, you can take it to any of our household waste recycling centres for disposal free of charge.
Or your local district council will provide a bulky household waste collection service under which they will collect old furniture from your property, they may make a charge for this.
