Day courses
White Hall has a fantastic range of facilities on site, including an indoor climbing wall, extensive ropes courses with high and low-level zip wires, orienteering courses and an exciting selection of problem-solving and initiative activities.
Day courses are usually run between 10am and 4pm.
They are held either at the centre or off-site. Off-site activities like canoeing and caving can be arranged subject to available transport at an extra cost. Prices for these courses are available from the centre.
Our standard ratio for group adventure activities is 1 to 10.
Course fees for on site activity days
Free places are offered for accompanying party organisers, leaders or teachers on a ratio suitable to the type of group.
Course fees include tuition by nationally qualified instructors and all specialist technical equipment.
Groups need to bring their own packed lunches. It may be possible for us to provide lunch, but only if this is requested at the time of booking.
Residential courses
We offer residential courses for up to 72 students plus accompanying adults.
The length of our courses are normally:
- 3 days: midday Monday to 1pm Wednesday or 2pm Wednesday to 2pm Friday
- 5 days: midday Monday to 2pm Friday
- weekends: 5pm Friday to 5pm Sunday or 10am Saturday to 5pm Sunday
We offer a flexible approach to booking, so if the times and days do not meet your requirements please contact us.
Our courses are individually designed to meet your needs.
We offer a full range of outdoor activities including an evening programme using highly qualified outdoor professionals.
Our fees include:
- full board accommodation - all our food is prepared and cooked on-site and we can cater for all dietary requirements
- all tuition on our standard ratio of 1 to 10
- use of all specialist technical and safety equipment
- use of our minibuses for activities
Outreach unit
White Hall has an outreach unit which offers a more flexible approach of providing high quality outdoor education and experiences in your location, local area or further afield.
Our programmes are designed to help young people achieve specific goals, whilst having lots of fun!
