Little Eaton Greenway - community engagement

Status: Results available

Opens: 28 September 2022 - Closes: 26 October 2022

What this consultation is about

We own the Little Eaton Branch Line between Duffield Road in Little Eaton and Rawson Green. It has been a long-term aim to transform the former railway into a multipurpose, multi-user Greenway, for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, and those with mobility scooters.

This route is embedded in the Derbyshire Key Cycle Network proposals and would extend the National Cycle Network Route 54. It forms a section of the Derby City to Ripley cycle route and would provide an alternative to cycling on the corresponding stretch of Derby Road.

A previous survey has confirmed support for the Greenway development, and we now wish to find out more about how you would use the Greenway and what is important to you.

We would really appreciate your input into this survey. It will help us get a better idea of what people think and support our planning application for the development and any applications we make for funding the project.

This questionnaire is available in other formats, so if you would like it in a different format or have any questions or comments on the survey form, please contact us.

We will also be hosting a community engagement event at the O.A.P. Centre on Barley Close, Little Eaton, on 28 September 2022 between midday and 7pm. You are welcome to come along and chat to us.
