During 2025 to 2026, we will invest £2.8 million to carry out repairs and resurfacing works across the county.
The majority of the budget will be spent at 34 locations to remove and replace the existing pavement with a new surface to provide a 20-year lifespan.
Repairs will include investing £450,000 in slurry sealing - a technique using a liquid mix of Tarmac and chippings to repair and seal the existing surface. A further £300,000 will be spent on general patching repairs at sites across the county.
Our teams will put out signs on the affected streets before work begins.

- Alfreton, Salcombe Road, the northern side of the road from Wood Street North westwards into Salcombe Road cul-de-sac

- Birdholme, Church Street South from Birchwood Crescent to and including Grangewood Road section next to the green
- Buxton, tree pits in pavements at various locations
