Recent changes to bus services
A summary of recent changes to bus services in Derbyshire, listed in date order, with the most recent first.

From Sunday 5 January 2025
High Peak:
- service 199: short evening journeys between Stockport and Manchester Airport withdrawn plus changes to the times of late evening journeys from Manchester Airport to Buxton to run earlier throughout, the last journey on Fridays and Saturdays from Buxton to Whaley Bridge will also run slightly later than at present
Diamond Buses
- services 21 and 21E: timetable amended on Mondays to Fridays to improve reliability
- service 22: the 7.10am morning journey from Swadlincote amended to leave at 6.40am
Stotts:
- service 341: will be operated by Go North West to the same route and timetable following franchising of bus services in Greater Manchester - buses will be coloured yellow as part of Manchester’s Bee Network
Stagecoach Manchester:
- service 219: will be operated by Metroline Manchester following franchising of bus services in Greater Manchester. The late night / early morning journeys on Friday / Saturday from Manchester to Glossop continue unchanged - buses will be coloured yellow as part of Manchester’s Bee Network
- service 237: will be operated by Metroline Manchester following franchising of bus services in Greater Manchester. Overall level of service and route is unchanged but some times are amended. Buses will be coloured yellow as part of Manchester’s Bee Network
- services 358 and 360 Hayfield to Stockport will continue to be operated by Stagecoach Manchester, route and timetable unchanged but buses will gradually be coloured yellow as part of Manchester’s Bee Network
From Saturday 4 January 2025
Arriva:
- services 1A 1B 1C: 1B extended along Snelsmoor Lane to Fellow Lands Way. There'll also be minor changes to the 1A / 1C timetable during the morning and evening peak hours to help reliability
- services 2 2A: extended into Chellaston Fields development. Some journeys that currently start / finish at Chellaston School will extend to Riber Drive next to Aldi
- Services 29 29A: in Leicestershire the timing point for Bardon Amazon is revised to the new stop in the warehouse grounds, accessed from Robson Way, rather than outside on the main road, so buses will no longer call at the Rushby Road stops on Beveridge Lane. No other changes to route or timetable
High Peak:
- service 62: revised timetable to regularise times at Edale Station to improve connections and adjust intermediate running times
- service 113: revised time for the morning school days arrival at Belper School. To improve reliability this journey will no longer serve King Street in Belper but passengers can alight at Chapel Street (outside the Bus Garage) or Market Place stops to reach the main shops on King Street
