We're committed to systemic practice

We’re committed to systemic practice in our children’s social work practice to help deliver good outcomes for the children and families we work with.

As part of our ongoing commitment to staff development we support all our qualified social workers to complete the ‘Advanced Certificate in Systemic Practice with Families in a Safeguarding Context’.

We’re also looking to appoint a systemic practice lead to develop and deliver an accredited course in systemic practice for all our qualified social workers and social work managers.

The systemic practice lead will also develop and support systemic practice across the whole of our children’s services department using a variety of methods including training, coaching and action learning.

And they will work with our partnership organisations to increase their understanding of systemic thinking and practice in the way we work.
