Shirevale Resource Centre

Shirevale Resource Centre opened in July 1990 and is situated in Shirebrook. There is currently a disability team including service managers, social workers and occupational therapists based at the unit.

The centre manager and staff group together with local volunteers, provide services from Monday to Friday for people with varying levels of need.

Over recent years the emphasis has continued to be more and more for people with dementia plus people with high level physical disabilities and care needs.

Shirevale also provides a bathing service.

Community Transport for Town and Country (CT4TC) provide tail lift buses to transport service users who are unable to arrange their own transport.
