The partnership board meets every 2 months.
The board works to engage with key local people and organisations to pass on information, challenge services and take action to make a difference for people with learning disabilities in their daily lives. It hopes to increase their choice, independence, rights and inclusion within their own communities.

Erewash and South Derbyshire Learning Disability Partnership Board is looking for more carers and learning disability reps to come along to their meetings.
- Would you like a greater voice as a carer or person with a learning disability?
- Do you want to raise awareness of issues facing people with a learning disability?
- Would you like to help build confidence and channels of communication?
- Do you feel passionate about learning disabilities?
If so, why not become an elected representative on the board?
Anyone with a learning disability is welcome to apply to become a representative where there are vacancies.
Learning disability representatives are trained for the roles and receive support to attend meetings and carry out their duties associated with the board if required.
