Although it is only a small library, the Borrowash local history section includes histories and photographic books on old Derby and some excellent locally written histories of Borrowash, Ockbrook and district.
Parish council minutes and Parish magazines are kept, press cuttings of local interest have been filed since 1980 and there is a collection of over 250 local photographs. There are also some copies of old Ordnance Survey maps of the area.
