Buxton Museum and Art Gallery has moved permanently from its location in Peak Buildings. This is due to structural problems and the potential costs and length of time which could be needed for bringing the building back into use.
The collections will move into secure storage until a new home is found. In the meantime, the museum team will be based at Buxton Library from the end of February where there will be an interim service.
