Disposing of paint

Can I dispose of some old tins of paint at a household waste recycling centre?

You can bring household quantities of household decorative paint into any of our household waste recycling centres.

If the paint is still usable you might also consider donating it to an organisation such as Community Repaint. They can distribute it to community groups for reuse on various charitable projects.
