Travelling from the A6 Matlock
Take the A6 from Matlock, through Matlock Bath to Cromford.
Turn left at Cromford onto Mill Road.
Go past Arkwright’s Mill on the left, Cromford Canal on the right and over the river.
Follow the road under the railway bridge and along the river, turning up the hill to Lea Bridge.
Once in Lea Bridge, turn left onto Lea Road and pass John Smedley’s, going under the walkway overhead.
As you come into the village of Lea, you will pass a sign for Lea Gardens. Lea Green Learning and Development Centre is about 50 yards further on the right.
Travelling from the A6 – Ambergate, Belper or Derby
Take the A6 from Ambergate, through Whatstandwell to Cromford.
Turn right at Cromford onto Mill Road.
Go past Arkwright’s Mill on the left, Cromford Canal on the right and over the river.
Follow the road under the railway bridge and along the river, turning up the hill to Lea Bridge.
Once in Lea Bridge, turn left onto Lea Road and pass John Smedley’s, going under the walkway overhead.
As you come into the village of Lea, you will pass a sign for Lea Gardens. Lea Green Learning and Development Centre is about 50 yards further on the right.
Travelling from the M1
Leave the M1 at junction 28 and take the A38 exit signposted for Matlock and Alfreton.
Take the third slip road signposted for Matlock and Alfreton on the A61, taking the third exit off the roundabout.
Immediately after leaving the roundabout, turn left at the traffic lights and then left at the small island onto the A615.
Turn right at the T-junction traffic lights (still on A615) and then left after the pub, signposted for Matlock (still on A615).
Follow this road through the village of Wessington and past the Plough Inn.
Take the left turn signposted for Wheatcroft and Crich (large coaches might want to take the left turn after this at the crossroads, follow the road to the end and turn right).
Follow this road around a right hand bend and down the hill into the village of Lea.
When you pass the Jug and Glass pub on your right, you will see the sign for Lea Green Learning and Development Centre on the left.
