Staying at Lea Green

Lea Green Learning and Development Centre has a wide range of accommodation that can be used independently or alongside each other, depending on the size and requirements of your group.


Lea Green lounge

Always warm and welcoming, we'll be your home from home!

Main house

The main house has 85 beds in a variety of dormitory-style rooms, shared bathroom facilities and the ability to split up male and female accommodation.

Connected to the main house is the flat, which has 14 beds in dormitory-style rooms, a small lounge area and a TV and DVD player on request. This area also has accessible toilets, showers and a changing table.

Meals are eaten in the large dining room, and groups also have access to various meeting rooms and the lounge, which has an open fire and a choice of board games. Find out more on the Lea Green Website.

The cottage

Perfect for self-catering groups with no accessibility needs, the cottage has 4 bedrooms, one of which is en suite, and a shared shower and toilet, as well as a lounge area with TV and DVD player on request and kitchen. Find out more about the cottage.

Meadow Lodge

Meadow Lodge is a purpose built bungalow for people with additional needs, with 6 twin bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, spacious lounge, kitchen, dining room, sensory room, computer suite and laundry. It can be hired fully catered by the room, or as a whole on a self-catering basis.

Camping

There is unlimited camping space within the grounds of Lea Green, with drinking water, toilets and washing up facilities available. Find out more on the Lea Green website.

Catering

Lea Green Learning and Development Centre has a full catering staff, who can provide breakfast, lunch and evening meal for groups and individuals by request.

Meals can range from packed lunches and cold buffets to 3-course meals and roast dinners, and we can cater for all diets.

Sample residential group menu

Breakfast:

  • cooked breakfast, toast and cereals
  • tea, coffee and fruit juice

Lunch:

  • lasagne and salad with garlic bread
  • assorted cakes

Dinner:

  • roast dinner
  • pear and chocolate crumble with custard

Facilities for visiting staff

Visiting staff have separate rooms within the main house, and a dedicated meeting and social space next to the lounge.
