To deliver early years' entitlement funded places, providers must have an active early years' Ofsted registration and be contracted with the local authority for registration on Derbyshire's Directory of Providers.
Contracts for new providers are issued termly. It is important that the relevant forms and documentation are completed, signed, and returned before any funded places can be offered. Therefore, if you are interested in delivering the funded hours, please contact the early years' finance team using the relevant email and an officer will be happy to contact you:
When delivering the funding entitlement, providers must agree to and abide by the terms and conditions in the local authority's provider agreement. This agreement reflects the legislation outlined in the Department for Education (DfE) statutory guidance. The Department for Education (DfE) early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework sets the standards that all early years' providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
