Voluntary and community sector (VCS) review 2020

Status: Closed

Opens: 6 February 2020 - Closes: 30 April 2020

What this consultation is about

We are proposing a new way of working with VCS infrastructure providers to ensure funding is allocated in a fairer and more consistent way. The aim is to encourage the sector’s long-term sustainability while supporting our own ambitions and priorities.

As this could impact on providers, we are consulting on the proposals and would like to hear from as many providers, stakeholders and members of the public as possible.

Detailed proposals on this new approach are attached to this page. Please read them before answering the questionnaire.

VCS Infrastructure provider organisations offer information, support, guidance, training, funding advice for groups, promote good practice and provide a voluntary sector perspective to the statutory sector at strategic level forums. Having a recognised and experienced infrastructure offer provides a crucial support role to the sector as a whole.
