What this consultation is about
To improve communication between the council and our employees we are proposing to replace Dnet, our staff intranet with an external website. Over time Dnet has grown but a significant amount of the content is out of date and employees without a council email address (60% of our workforce) cannot even access the site.
The plan is to develop a new simplified employee website that will be open to all employees, be easy to search and provide an improved experience. We won't turn off Dnet until we have found a new home for the phone book, and other key pieces of information.
To help with the development of the new site, and to allow employee opinions to be gathered, we would like our employees to fill in this short questionnaire. The survey should only take a couple of minutes to complete but will provide valuable insight and help us to make the proposed website work for everyone.
