Status: Closed
Opens: 9 July 2020 - Closes: 24 July 2020
What this consultation is about
Smokefree Derbyshire School Gates is an initiative to support all infant, junior and primary schools across Derbyshire to become smokefree at the school gates. It's part of a broader programme of work called Smokefree Derbyshire.
The aims of the Smokefree Derbyshire School Gates initiative are:
- to help reduce the uptake of smoking among children and young people
- to support people not to smoke in the presence of children
- to help people successfully quit smoking for good
A pilot ran for this initiative from November 2019 to February 2020 and resulted in 19 schools taking part.
This consultation is to gain feedback on how those schools found the process so that we can make any refinements or improvements before rolling it out to other schools.
