What this consultation is about
The Derbyshire Housing and Health Systems Group is a multi-agency group that currently includes representatives from district, borough and city housing officers, our children’s services, our adult care and public health, and Derbyshire clinical commissioning groups.
Since formation, the group has met quarterly and has made some achievements in joining-up conversations, securing investment around homelessness, led the design and implementation of a locally delivered housing stock conditions survey and has explored potential links with one of the big 6 energy companies.
However, members of the group feel its impact and reach could be improved by looking at the membership and remit of the group itself, particularly in light of the refreshed Health and Wellbeing Strategy priority of 'supporting our vulnerable populations to live in well-planned and healthy homes'.
This is a short survey to support development of the group and provides opportunities to align strategic work across Derbyshire.
