What this consultation is about
This consultation seeks to get a more locally accurate view of GP provision of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) provision in primary care. Questions aim to support information on this element of Derbyshire sexual health provision and include seeking answers about:
- average waiting times for a LARC procedure in general practice
- level of LARC delivery and by whom
- gaps in a practice in terms of training to offer LARC to the practice population who would benefit
- interest in support if available for practices to increase the level of trained staff to deliver LARC as appropriate and in accordance with the need of the particular practice population demographic
