Opens: 15 November 2023 - Closes: 31 December 2024

What this consultation is about

The Disability Employer Engagement Derbyshire (DEED) Team are here to support you, and your business employing people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

The Equality Act 2010 defines a disability as 'a physical or mental impairment that has a 'substantial' and 'long-term' negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities'. 1 in 5 people in the UK have reported having a disability and 83% of people gain their disability while in employment.

Let us know how we can provide the most useful information, events and workshops for you, and your business by answering our survey. Your responses will be used to plan future services and events - If you would like more information about the survey or DEED please contact us at employAble@derbyshire.gov.uk
