What this consultation is about
We recognise the importance of good quality housing, accommodation and support to assist people to be independent for as long as possible. 2020 has been a very difficult year for everyone because of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on people’s lives. We also know that the pandemic has changed many people's ideas about how they want to live in the future.
We want to understand how you feel about your current housing and social care situation and what you'd like in the future. We’d also like to hear the views of people who are carers (paid or unpaid) and relatives of those who receive support or may need additional support to live independently too. What you tell us will contribute to the development of housing, accommodation and support for people in Derbyshire.
The information you share with us through this survey will be treated in the strictest confidence and you will not be identified. Your views will be taken into account in a document called an interim Market Position Statement (MPS). An MPS is a public document that helps us to understand what care services and support is needed and why.
It's up to you if the information you provide relates to your own situation or that of someone else (for example a relative you care for) and it could also be based on what you want now or at some point in the future.
We'd be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to provide this information by completing this short survey online, or by phoning us to share your views.
