Children's centre services review - stage 2

Status: Results available

Opens: 8 October 2014 - Closes: 21 January 2015

The Derbyshire Challenge

What this consultation is about

We're facing massive budget pressures like never before and need to save £157m by 2018.

We need to look at the way we offer children's centre services so we can deliver them in the best possible way to support children and families within our limited budget.

Some services will remain, some will be run differently and some will have to stop. We might even have to look at closing some children's centres. We don't want to do this but we're having to consider all proposals.

The consultation is now closed. A report on the findings of the consultation was presented to Cabinet, 3 March 2015, agenda item 18. A further report was presented to Cabinet, 7 July 2015, agenda item 12.
