In July 2018 we adopted a new strategy for equality and diversity.
This strategy sets out our priorities in relation to equality and diversity, the approach we will be taking to implement our policy and the commitments within our strategy and includes an action plan, which provides more details on the action we intend to take over the next few years.
The strategy will be used to monitor our progress and performance and will be overseen by our Diversity and Inclusion Board, with progress reported to our corporate management team and our Cabinet.
We will also use this strategy as the basis for our reporting in relation to the public sector equality duty.
