Our workshops are designed to provide employees with information, advice and guidance on a variety of employability themes, including support with job search, labour market information and career planning.
If you're interested in any of these workshops, but are unable to attend the dates provided, you can access individual support through one of our qualified careers coaches.
Our available workshops are:
50+ employment support
This workshop outlines some of the challenges faced by those aged over 50. It identifies ways to overcome these, as well as exploring the support available, and understanding what individuals are able to offer compared to under 50s.
How to sell yourself and succeed at interview
This session covers how to prepare for interview, understanding what information is available to help with preparation, and learning how to communicate and sell yourself during interview.
How to write a winning CV / application form
This session provides an overview of each element of your CV and application form, providing hints and tips to make them stand out, as well as understanding how to tailor them to the specific role you're applying for.
Identifying your transferable skills
This session will enable you to be able to reflect upon and identify skills from your experiences, and understand how to use these skills to sell yourself when applying for new opportunities.
Support with applying for our vacancies
This session focuses on the recruitment methods we use, understanding each stage of the process, how to use the job and person profile to improve your application, and hints and tips.
