Our highways service is a high-profile area of the business that is front and centre in terms of the council's service plan. The services we provide have a direct impact on the lives of all Derbyshire people, as well as those who visit or work within the county and is essential to the economic prosperity of Derbyshire, providing access to work, health, education and leisure services.

We have a budget of over £58 million to support the delivery of our ever-growing programme of highways works to maintain a safe and reliable network for all its users, covering everything from pothole repairs and road resurfacing through to major maintenance of bridges and other structures across the county of Derbyshire.
