The scheme helps disabled people to access goods and services by allowing them to park close to their destination.
The Blue Badge Scheme is administered for residents of Derbyshire on behalf of, and in line with, the Department for Transport's regulations. If where you live comes under the administration of Derby City Council then your application should be made to them.

The scheme provides a national range of on-street parking concessions to Blue Badge holders.
It allows them to park without charge or time limit in otherwise restricted on-street parking environments and to park on yellow lines for up to 3 hours, unless a loading ban is in place.
You can find a summary of parking concessions in the Blue Badge scheme local authority guidance.
Disabled parking space at your property
The Blue Badge scheme does not cover requests for a disabled parking bay outside your property. You need to contact your local social care office or Call Derbyshire telephone: 01629 533190.
Moving house
Tell us if you move house. Contact Call Derbyshire telephone: 01629 533190. We'll update our records so any correspondence is sent to the correct address.
